I am a professional musician and singer, based in Lyme Regis, Dorset. I offer a varied repertoire for weddings and special occasions; Classical, Celtic, Indian and Gypsy music including timeless favourites such as Ave Maria and Jesu My Joy.
I first felt my calling to make music at the age of three and music continues to be one of the great loves in my life. I studied violin, singing and piano at The Royal College of Music, qualifying with a GRSM hons degree, ARCM Teaching Diploma and one year of Post Graduate Study. After graduating I taught in London, directed a children’s orchestra and freelanced as an orchestral violinist for several years. In 1995, I became fascinated with improvisation and Indian music and studied for a few years at The Bhavan Centre of Indian Music and dance in London. Over the years, I have travelled to India, Japan and Europe with my music and been involved in a few TV productions. Here in Dorset, I continue to teach privately; sing in a Chamber Choir and coach the ladies section – and enjoy all the varied musical engagements that come my way. |
